A Collaborative Animation by Blu and David Ellis – 2009

Many times when viewing collaboration projects you miss out on the individuals that make up that project. Sam & Dave, Rogers & Hammerstein, Sumi Ink Club, and Frank n Dank are good great examples. After seeing the amazing video above I dug a little deeper and found a well developed nest for artists Blu, David Ellis and musician Roberto Lange. I’ll include a skimming of information here but I recommend you do some work yourdamnself.

His site is filled with worm belly drawings, corporate suicide methods, and videos. The animation above is fantastic.

- David Ellis -
“Each week a new cassette tape of emerging New York hip-hop found its way into the life of a child growing up in a log house in North Carolina.” That definitely speaks to me, if that wasn’t enough he is also a part of Barnstormers. Big up NC!

- Roberto Lange -
Roberto along with Guillermo Scott Herren (Prefuse 73) and Eva Puyuelo Muns make up the group Savath and Savalas. New record out on Stones Throw.
