Danny Plotnick

Dumbass from Dundas

Before anything is even said watch this:

One of my favorites from Danny Plotnick. Made in ‘88.

“I’m a firm believer that truth is stranger than fiction. I observe the world around me and watch things that are too good to be true. Steel Belted Romeos is based on a true story of me getting punched in the face at a stoplight. After I stopped bleeding, I realised, “Hey, that would make a great film.” But the great thing about film is that it doesn’t have to be realistic.”
From an interview with Plotnick.

With his “love of punk and alternative culture” (according to his website), he pretty much hit the nail on the head. Kind of 80’s, kind of trashy, but really kind of great.

If nothing else wins your heart, then this definitely will: Skate Witches (’86)
