I first discovered Jackson while browsing around Amoeba Records, drunk with power from my store credit, I swooped up “Smash” around 2005. It was amazing sounding and I had no idea what to do with it. I suppose if I did, I could have told my licensing friends to put these tunes in a commercial like this one. Many of the Ed Banger dudes, sebastian especially, have commented on how Jackson was the pioneer for their sound back in the good old days of the early to mid 2000’s.
